Where to go out in Amed?

Pacha bar

Live music every Tuesdays and Fridays, join the travelers and have a drink. The place is mostly alive during the events.

Warung Enak

Nice traditional food made by a local chef with care, very good taste and use of the spices. You can try one of their fabulous curry. This restaurant is not far from our dive center.

Sunset drink

Go to the top of Jemeluk Bay to have a dring impressive sea view of the bay and Amed coral reef.

Galanga restaurant

20 minutes from the dive center in the direction of Lipah Bay, this place is owned by a French girl that revisited traditional dish to refine them. The menu is very interesting and it is difficult to pick a dish. You can eat on some nice bamboo gazebo for 4 peoples with confort and privacy. Try one of their pastry to finish your dinner.

Activities around Amed

Fishing village and Selang island

Drive around the coast of amed to the numerous fishing villages for wonderfull sea views. If you have time you can even keep going to Amlapura and back though Tirta ganga for a half day loop.

Visite the rice fields

On the road to Tirta Ganga, at approximately 20 minutes by car from Tulamben, you can drive through some of the most beautiful rice fields of Bali. Ideal for a little outing in the afternoon after diving. On a nice day you will be able to catch a glimse of Lombok Island in the distance.

Tirta Ganga

Fabulous water garden scaterred with Balinese sculptures. The basins are full of giant Koi carpes and shelters a lovely fontaine. There is a temple located in the water gardens and traditionnal cermononies are frequent. You can also grab a drink at the Tirta Ayu restaurant dominating the garden. They make excellent ice creams and desserts. Access is approximately 25 minutes by car, time of visit about an hour.

Pura Lempuyang Temple

4 temples are accessible on this mountain that seperates Amlapura and Amed. The path is a steep staircase type access, but the vegetation and the landscape is magnificent. It is common to have a bit of passing fog, but this give a very mystical atmosphere. Access is approximately 20 minutes by car. Time of visite about 3 hours.
