The sea side
Only 5 minutes walk from the hotel, make the most of the sun set to enjoy a well deserved cocktail in the restaurants of the Pemuteran bay beaches.
Snorkeling in Menjangan
Explore the magnificent ocean floors with your fins, mask, and snorkel. Dive Concepts Permuteran organises daily trips to the marine park.
Outings: Waterfall and rice fields of Munduk
At approximately 45 minutes by car, admire the rice fields on the way to Munduk. Plan of the day: coffee plantations, cocoa and cloves, all whilst travelling through valleys and arboreous fern. Arrival in Munduk, departure for the first waterfall at about 15 minute walk. For the sporty types, another waterfall is accessible. Follow the sign to “Golden Valley” on the right of the path heading downhill. The path is easy. Upon arrival, a little local restaurant which serves locally produced coffee.
The Menjangan tower
At about 10 minutes by car from the pemuteran dive center, the view point is formed by enormous tropical tree trunks. Spectacular panorama of the island of Menjangan but also over the national park forest. A restaurant serves drinks in the tower. So don't delay, order a cocktail and get up there!
Walking along the hills of Permuteran
Leave late afternoon towards the mountains so as not to be too hot, and admire the view over the Permuteran bay and the surronding hills. Approximately 25 minute walk to get to the first hill summit where you will find a small balinese temple.
Monkeys and the Pura Pulaki temple
The temple is located at the entrance of the village of Permuteran coming from Lovina, where the road side tracks the sea. Many monkeys will come to greet you! Be careful not to have any drinks or food on you to not get harrased!!
