Gili Selang Bay
Also called Waterloo, this site is only for very experienced divers. Located at the entry of the Lombok straight, the site offers an exceptionnal coral reef, the marine life here is very different from the one in the areas of Amed and Tulamben but similar to the one you will encounter around Nusa Penida. The site is made of a little bay, the island of Gili Selang closing it and forming the most oriental point of Bali. The density of coral and reef fish here is exceptionnal, it is also very commun to encounter napoleon fish, turtles, reef and oceanic sharks.
Towards the north we find a spot sometimes called Three Fingers.
Kami sampai di tempat ini lewat kapal memancing Bali
Napoleon fish, turtles, reef and ocean sharks. A lot of small fish in a reef full of life.
Entry to the bay: (Three Fingers) from 5 to 20 meters depth, we dive a rock face that allows us to shelter a little from the powerful currents that hit this zone of Selang at the far Est of Bali. The stronger the current, the more we advance on the rock face which opens up onto a magnificent coral plateau.
